I am not much of a book reader. Usually when I read something it is for a Church Bible study or I skim my way through a tech book. I found myself needing to tighten up my time management skills a bit. Talking to a coworker lead me to reading “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey.
I found the book’s overall structure keeping my attention mostly through the real-life stories from Stephen Covey. They were interesting, informative, entertaining, and, unknowingly at first, high educational.
Mr. Covey will take you through 7 habits that feels are essential to living a well-managed life. Those 7 habits are put into 3 different phases with everything leading up to a complete lifestyle change, and the ongoing mission of “sharpening the saw.”
If you’re struggling with any kind of personal life management, you should read this book. It’s an easy read and doesn’t take a long time to get through. Its readily available in ebook format on Amazon and other book online retailers, as well as the major brick and mortar stores.
This is a book you want to read. It will change your approach to life’s biggest challenges, and give you what you need to succeed in any situation.
