Reviews – My 2017 Blog Resolution…
A while back, one of the book publishers approached me about reviewing a table of contents concept for a book idea they were exploring. They were starting to offer more PHP related programming books, and I had been active in the community. I did a review, and then another. Fast-forward a couple of years, and they had sent me quite a few. I found it fun. I want to do more reviews.
My blog resolution for 2017 is to do more reviews. Reviews of books, development tools, products, educational packages and tools, study related packages and tools, or anything related. I want to give back to the community what I’ve been given throughout the years. That is a look inside something before I spend hard-earned money on it.
One of my blog resolutions for 2017 is to do more reviews. Last year I reviewed a book.
I also gave my first impressions of a framework and language.
This year I want to branch out into other things. Anything from tools to books to software packages to frameworks and languages. If you’re reading this and have something you’d like me to look at, please contact me through the contact form or on twitter.
My first review is going to be of a really nice IDE. I won’t spoil the details, but I had someone approach me asking if I’d like to review it, or have them guest blog. It will be up either later this week, or early next week. It reminded me how much I enjoyed that.
Remember my topics for the blog are:
Plus I have some personal Stuff mixed in. I like to hunting, play video games, have a toddler and a wife, and other things. I hope you’ll join me on my journey to shed light on things, and learn about other new things.
Happy New Year!
